| 2 eggs | 1/2 t vanilla |
| 1/2 c sugar | 4 medium tart apples |
| 1 c sour cream | 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell |
| 1-1/2 T flour | 1/4 t salt |
| Topping: | |
| 6 T brown sugar | 3 T melted butter/margarine |
| 1/2 c flour | |
| Peel and thinly slice apples. Beat eggs lightly in a medium bowl. Add sugar, sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt, mixing well. Add apples, tossing until slices are well-coated. Turn into pie shell and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and lower temperature to 350°F. Mix topping ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over pie. Return pie to oven and cook for 15 minutes. | |
