Snickerdoodles
1 c butter 1 t baking soda
1-1/2 c sugar 1/2 t salt
2 eggs 2-3/4 c flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 T sugar 1 t cinnamon
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill 2-4 hours. Roll into size of walnuts, then roll into cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen
