| 2 c mashed persimmons | 2 t cinnamon |
| 2 t baking soda | 1 t cloves, ground |
| 2 c sugar | 1 t nutmeg |
| 1 c oil | 1 t salt |
| 2 eggs | 2 c raisins |
| 4 c flour | 2 c pecan pieces |
| Mix persimmons, baking soda, sugar and oil. Add eggs. Add flour, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt. Add raisins and pecans. Drop by spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 325°F 12-15 minutes. Check at 10 minutes. Yield: 8 dozen | |
